Instrument Overview: The FV3000NIR confocal laser scanning microscope is a highly versatile system that supports a wide variety of imaging applications. With a selection of magnification ranging from 1.25x to 100x and overlay mapping function, the system allows switching from macro imaging of samples at low magnification to micro imaging of region of interest at greater details with high precision. There is a choice of up to 8 imaging laser lines, covering the entire visible spectrum and the near infra-red region for deep imaging. The 30x silicon oil immersion objective is very useful for imaging of thick samples such as 3D organoids, tissue samples and small organisms. The FV3000NIR system is fully equipped with fast resonant scanners, high sensitivity detectors and temperature and CO2 controls, which supports high-speed live cell imaging.
