What it is:
The Zeiss Axio Observer 7 HCS inverted is designed for fast acquisition of dynamic processes and includes components selected to ensure both stable environmental conditions and highest image quality at different temperatures.
Manufacturer: Zeiss
Model Name: AxioObserver7
Applications: Brightfield & widefield fluorescence light microscopy, live-cell imaging, HCS
Instrument Overview: The Axio Observer 7 is a dedicated live-cell imaging microscope in multiple positions and multiple channels (both fluorescence and birghtfield, including phase and DIC) over long time periods. The microscope is equipped with the latest Definit Focus 3 module, which compensates for the focus drift and keeps samples in focus during long-time-lapse even for most challenging multi-day multi-position time lapse experiments. The fluorescence light source, Colibri 7 with seven excitation wavelengths and filters sets cover the entire visible range, enables fast multispectral imaging. The new design of filter wheel instead of traditional filter cubes makes the switch between different fluorescence channel much faster. The high-magnification long working distance objectives are ideal for samples placed in normal dishes rather than dedicated glass-bottom dishes.
