Leica SP8 WLL
What is it? A laser scanning confocal microscope featuring a white light laser, photon-counting hybrid detectors and a resonant scanner.
Manufacturer: Leica
Model Name: TCS SP8 X WLL
Applications Laser scanning confocal imaging, Fluorescence spectral imaging, Fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP)
Instrument Overview: The confocal microscope is equipped with a white light laser as well as several conventional monochromatic lasers, spectral detection by sensitive photon-counting hybrid detectors and a resonant scanner for very fast confocal imaging. The motorised stage allows multi-position time-lapse imaging or tile scans of large samples and the hardware autofocus ensures stable focusing over extended periods of time. A stage-top incubator is available upon request.
