Instrument overview:

The Spectra TEM is operated with accelerating voltages ranging from 30 to 300 kV.  Equipped with a monochromator and double aberration correctors for TEM and STEM modes, the Spectra TEM offers the highest resolution imaging and advanced analytical spectroscopy at sub-Angstrom scale.

• Flexible high tension, low dose mode, ultra-sensitive cameras (direct beam detector and segmented STEM detection unit) can analyze most inorganic and organic materials.
• Monochromated-STEM-EELS allows the mapping of bonding/oxidation states at sub‑nanometer resolution.
• The cryo-box provides an ice-free environment for experiments conducted at cryogenic temperature.
