CBIS/DBS and SANEAsia jointly organize a two -week workshop on Stimulated emission depletion (STED) fluorescent microscopy, commencing from 28 August 2023. To provide you with hands-on experience, we’ve established a STEDYCON unit in S1A #01-04, offering instrument demonstrations and free user sample test.
STED is a Nobel Prize winning methods of super-resolution microscopy. The method facilitates the generation of super-resolution images down to 40nm. This is achieved through the strategic deactivation of fluorophores, effectively minimizing the illuminated area at the focal point. When combined with single molecule localization microscopy techniques, this approach, known as Minflux, achieves a remarkable one nanometer resolution.
We cordially invite you to test samples on STED and witness the stunning results achievable with this technology. Meanwhile we have scheduled the workshop talk on 6 Sep 2023 (Wednesday) in S3-05-02 DBS Conference Room I, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am as followings.
