NUS Electron Microscopy Unit will be conducting a workshop on Image Processing and Analysis. The workshop will consist of morning talks and a hands-on demonstration on Amira software in the afternoon.
Thermo Scientific Amira Software is a powerful, comprehensive, and versatile software solution for visualizing, analyzing and understanding life science and biomedical research images from many image modalities, including Optical and Electron Microscopy, CT, MRI and other imaging modalities. With incredible speed and flexibility, Amira Software supports advanced 2D–5D bioimaging workflows in research areas ranging from structural and cellular biology to tissue imaging, neuroscience, anatomical imaging and bioengineering.
ThermoFisher Scientific will provide a hands-on demo for participants who are interested to try it out. You will need to bring your own laptop. Do note that there is a limited number of participants for the demo.
