The Olympus FV3000NIR system is a highly versatile laser scanning confocal system that supports a wide variety of imaging applications.
With a selection of magnification ranging from 1.25x to 100x and overlay mapping function, the system allows easy switching from macro imaging of samples at low magnification to micro imaging of region of interest at greater details with high precision. There is a choice of up to 8 imaging laser lines, covering the entire visible spectrum and the near infra-red region for deep imaging. The 30x silicon oil immersion objective is very useful for imaging of thick samples such as 3D organoids, tissue samples and small organisms.

The FV3000NIR system is fully equipped with a hybrid scan unit consisting of a galvanometer scanner and a resonant scanner, high sensitivity detectors, as well as temperature and CO2 controls that support high-speed live cell imaging.
