A*STAR, in collaboration with Evident, successfully hosted the Fundamentals of Microscopy course from 10 to 13 March 2026. The four-day workshop brought together over 30 in-person participants, including international attendees from Indonesia and Malaysia, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
Centered on the theme of microscopy fundamentals, the course provided comprehensive coverage from sample preparation techniques to image analysis. Participants benefited from a series of seminars spanning key topics such as microscope components, fluorescence dyes, imaging techniques, confocal microscopy, and data processing.
The strong participation and lively discussions throughout the course created a highly collaborative and enriching experience—not only for attendees, but for instructors as well.
